Named after the mayor of St. Pete Beach, Colonel Michael J. Horan Park is a favorite of locals. We get to enjoy the view of the Intracoastal waterway at this beautiful waterfront park where friends and families can gather and have fun together. The park has amenities like a playground, free parking, a large open green space, a picnic pavilion and water fountain, picnic tables, and restrooms. The lawn area is well-maintained and lots of birds also frequent the park.
The park hosts several community events such as festivals, concerts in the park during spring and in the month of October, and an annual holiday boat parade. The events are free, just bring your family and friends, chairs, and enjoy live entertainment. Food and beverage are available for purchase.
