The idea for Suntan Art Center was introduced by Richard Loeb of St. Pete Beach. Mr. Loeb had been taking some painting classes at the recreation center and saw a need for a dedicated local art center. In 2018, Suntan celebrated its 55 years. At the moment, the center holds events such as classes like the Sip N’ Paint Activity for Thirsday Thursdays this September 22, and October 27.
For a $50 fee per person for the class, all painting supplies are included. Just bring yourself, your friends, drinks, and snacks. Make the usual Thursday stand above the rest by exploring your creative side while enjoying a good sip of your favorite beverage together with fellow enthusiasts and friends.
